Tompkins Hall Twos Room

Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of thirteen toddlers at any one time. Areas are available for large and small motor experiences, imaginative play, stories, textural play (sand, water, soapsuds, playdough), art experiences, music, and movement. Outdoor play takes place on our roof playground and on Barnard's campus. Teachers provide intimate nurturing and encourage peer interaction. We help our children to say goodbye and to feel comfortable away from home. The program emphasizes age-appropriate play and development in a supportive setting.
